My dad is known as Popi to his grandchildren. He is, without a doubt, one of Mikah's most favorite people!! She loves her Popi. He walks through the door and it is 'POPI MANIA!'. I know my father must be exhausted when he leaves our home. He takes her for long walks, plays outside with her and he even watched the entire 'Alice and Wonderland' movie with her the last time he was here. He sat on our bed for 2 hours, with no distractions, because Mikah wanted her Popi to watch this movie with her. Kudo's to any man that would do that (and better him than Noni, Mommy or Daddy - we got to watch 'CSI' in the living room!)
I have always pretty much thought my father could do no wrong and it is certainly reflected in my conversations about him. So not long ago my mother was saying something about my father and Mike jokingly said
"What? I thought he was perfect, you mean he isn't perfect?" I had to say
..."Listen, EVERY girl deserves to have a father that she thinks HUNG the MOON." I know I think mine did, and nothing pleases me more than to know my daughter thinks he does too!!

I am Aunt Patsy to some and Great Aunt Patsy to some and Sister-in-law to Popi! I agree with Kele on Popi, all the munchkins kids are VERY lucky to have him in their life - I know I'm lucky to have him in mine - he's not a brother-in-law, he's my brother! Oh, that sounds like the lyrics to a song! Happy Birthday Popi!
