The latest on lovely Presley...

I haven't taken many pics of Presley lately because she has been on cpap all week. The cpap is positive pressure through prongs in her nose and requires this silly head gear to keep it in place. Of course, I hate seeing all this on her but I can't deny how helpful it has been for her. Her oxygen requirement has decreased dramatically and she is breathing so much easier with the cpap's help. Her baseline respirations used to be 80 bpm, now she is breathing about 40-50 bpm, HUGE difference. She isn't nearly as tired, obviously.
But I hate that I can't 'pretty her up' so to speak. No hair bows, no pretty clothes...geez. My sweet butterfly...when she gets all this stuff off and all these tubes out, I am going to dress my girl up to look like the doll baby she is!!!
We have 3 more weeks to go on the antibiotics and we are still in the 'discussion' phase regarding her g-tube. There has been a lot going on in the decision making area. I have just been praying for the Lord to help Mike and I know the right choices to make for Presley. I know He will guide us in this regard.
Thank you all for the comments and emails concerning my recent post 'Spiritual confusion'. It was all so helpful and I was very touched by how many of you contacted me with your concern and insight. I shared all of the comments and emails with Mike and the both of us have found such a new sense of peace with it all now. So, thank you, truly.
I am praying specifically and I am praying that 'His will be done'. I am praying for strength and acceptance as well as proclaiming and praising. Most importantly, I am praying, all day, every day. And even more important than that, He is listening.
