April brought more than showers this year...

It brought that damn pneumonia again!!
And of course, gave it to little Miss Presley. 
I think the little butterfly was a bit compromised following her tonsil removal in early March,
then spring and all the allergies that come with it,
kicked her when she was down.
And true to form with Presley,
all the congestion and drainage goes right to her chest,
and then...
"Hello Pneumonia!"
Luckily, we caught it sooner rather than later,
and our hospital stay was only a week,
rather than a month like last year.
In fact,
it was said more than once during her hospital stay,
that she looked nothing like her chest x-ray looked.
(i.e. x-ray looked like crap, but she looked anything but!)
She managed to charm and entertain the PICU like never before.
Literally entertain them...
finding her showing off with several nurses in her room,
laughing and loving her,
was a regular sight...
that's my girl.

One of my favorite parts of this hospital, is the hotel like room service, we just order from the yummy menu and it arrives to our room. 

And wouldn't you know, by weeks end, everyone of her nurses knew how much she liked to eat,

and she spent a lot of her time doing just that...

We are at home now, and taking treatments for a while...

but at least we are all sleeping in our own bed!
(Altho, I think she liked the food better there!!)

And soon it will be 'back to school', with all of her new (and thoughtful) friends...
