Apparently, Aunt Vicki thought Mikah would just love to have a make-up kit for Christmas and she was right, MIKAH did LOVE getting that make-up kit, however, Mommy... not so much! There is pretty much an on going battle now regarding 'the make-up', she feels every surface in the house needs to wear a little bit of it!!!!! I will say this, if I put her at the kitchen table with it, where it is now mandated to, she will sit there for an HOUR, I kid you not. So I guess I can't get too mad at Aunt Vicki, at least if I need an hour reprieve, I know what to do with her.
P.S. You know we love you Vicki!

All little girls like make up....I'm glad it's you and not me... She looks like she is enjoying herself. 1 hr WOW. Now if you can just find something that Jetts likes for an hr, you would have it made. Good Luck!!!!! I love them kiddo!!!

I remember when Darrah got her first one. :) So cute!
Once about two years ago, my daughter Ricki (who was then 12)(PS she also has Down S), got into my makeup. My only regret is that I didn't have a camera..... she is dying to wear makeup (which in my community is really not done till about age 17). Gee, 17 is not that far away....
hey a girl's best friend can be her makeup. it's night and day when i'm wearing makeup and when i'm not! :O and an hour break sounds mighty fine to me!!!

Those aunts can be a real pain! My sister (and niece) gave Diva a Hannah Montannah barbie for Christmas. I don't really like her to have this kind of stuff and when you push her belly button she sings. Really loud! I can hear it all over our 2 story house! Yep, aunts. Gotta love them.
