Presley has been really sick this month with a respiratory infection, and because of that, she hasn't been feeling 100% and has been back on oxygen. However, I think considering all, she did very well. Her party was simple but sweet. She had a house full of people who love her and I must say, Presley was quiet taken aback. My little butterfly usually wears a smile as big as her whole body, but on this day, you could see she was a bit mystified by the chaos. I was disappointed she didn't smile her usual smiles for everyone to see, but none the less, she was absolutely adorable!! At days end we were all sooooo exhausted. Mikah and Jett were asleep by 7:00, Presley, 7:30, and I kid you not... Mike and I were IN BED, lights OUT and ASLEEP by 8:30.
Perhaps it was just the exhaustion from this ENTIRE last year, LOL!
That being said, thanks to those of you that have shared in this last year with us, we love you all!!
Mike feared we wouldn't be able to see her through her birthday outfit, he is almost right!

She is just getting prettier all the time - and so big! I love that last picture of the two of you all exhausted... you know it was a GOOD PARTY when you're so wiped out you're in bed shortly after the sun goes down. :)
the pictures are great....thanks for putting them on the blog so quickly so i can "experience" the butterfly's party even though I wasn't there. I already received party briefings from mom and Kristy and the word is that the party was wonderful and that Presley looked adorable. Please give the big girl (and her sister and brother) big, big kisses from me. I miss all of them sooooo much.

I am with auntie Kim ... my favorite was the one where she is just passed out,lounging in your lap.I am sure she had sensory overload .. a room full of people scares the crap out of me.But seriously,I felt just a little like I was there.It would have been way better if I was though.Her party hat was way cuter than the one I sent.Mine can go to the dress up box for sure.Anyway.... love you guys.Kisses to the butterfly.She is so absolutely beautiful.Happy birthday baby girl.
What an absolute doll she is!!! I especially love the last picture with her little bare legs and fancy shoes...I just want to snuggle her right up...and the pony tails...makes me ache for a little girl! Cutie Patootie little Miss 1 year old is!!! :)
Oh I am so glad you posted all of those photos! I CANNOT wait to meet sweet Presley and all of you! What a wonderful celebration...that first year milestone! You guys are such a beautiful family and wonderful friends. WE send our love!!!
