Video of Presley...

I didn't know if I would post this video. I don't know why I am so reluctant to show Presley to the world when she is like this. I guess it just seems so personal.
Never the less, I thought she looked so alert today that it excited me. So, I thought some of you, who have been diligently checking on her, would like to see it too.
The dichotomy of the weaning process is brutal. We want to lift her sedation so she will breath well on her own and get her off the ventilator but, lifting her sedation means she has to be awake and fully aware of the breathing tube down her nose and throat, as well as tie her down!!! She wiggles and squirms and looks around like 'What's the frickin' deal here?!' You can see her dart her eyes side to side, just not knowing what the heck is going on?!
I know if I had to be like that I would want to be knocked out cold!
My poor butterfly, she is such a patient and strong Lil lovely, isn't she?
She is doing better. The doctor has been weaning her ventilator today and she is handling it all very well. I am hoping everyone will send a prayer that we get her extubated (off the ventilator) by Sunday. That is mommas specific prayer anyway!!
